If, and only if, you can actually take care of kid should you babysit. Trust me, I had no experience aaaand.....let's just say those kids never had a chance. *tears*
But seriously, go for it. Also if you want you should try doing other various things. Like mowing yards or something. GO FOR IT! WOOOO!!!!
